About the Role

This is a dynamic position to be the electronics and software guru at Mercury Hampton Ltd. It is a varied role including design, R&D, software & hardware, problem solving, hands-on work to build products and test rigs and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing electrical schematics and drawings in line with project specifications
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills to analyse issues with servo drive and software issues
  • Researching, designing and writing new software programs
  • Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
  • Producing specifications, and complying with project plans and industry standards
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Confirm system and components capabilities by designing testing methods, finished products and system capabilities
  • Designing, developing and maintaining electrical control systems and components
  • Testing installations and systems, and analysing data
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an electronics engineer role or similar
  • Experience with the following will be beneficial: motion control, servo drives, Embedded C, C#, C++, PLC logic programming, HMI programming, PCB / circuit design
Location

Living commutable to Mercury Hampton Ltd, you could live in various locations.
