Digital Pathology Software Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to join our expanding team at Epredia. As a Digital Pathology Software Developer, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing application development and integration of patches from support collaborators. Your expertise in high-speed digital imaging techniques and user interfaces for scanning instruments, production test software, and investigative analysis will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software applications using C# and C++
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate patches and updates
- Utilize modern software development processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Maintain a minimum of 40% documentation activity within a regulated life cycle
Requirements:
- Excellent C# and C++ programming skills
- Experience with XAML, .Net Framework, and Windows Service Applications
- Strong understanding of unit and system testing in regulated industries
- Ability to reverse engineer code into articulate requirements and design details
Desirable Skills:
- Image capture and processing
- Networking and data storage
- Chromium Embedded Framework
- Knowledge of BS EN 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering or computer science discipline preferred
