Position Overview

We are pleased to announce a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Lead Nurse to join our esteemed renal dialysis team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care within our state-of-the-art haemodialysis unit, which operates six days a week, providing day case dialysis services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for offering clinical guidance and support to both qualified and unqualified nursing staff within the haemodialysis unit. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality dialysis care to our patients.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with experience in haemodialysis
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership training
  • Experience in mentoring
