Intervention Tutor Role for Children with Special Needs

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Intervention Tutor to provide one-to-one support to children with Special Education Needs (SEN) in a flexible work arrangement. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with children who require face-to-face support at their homes, care homes, or local areas, developing their knowledge in Maths, English, and Science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Apply skills to raise pupils' confidence and learning, ensuring they can access the curriculum.
- Manage behavior and implement a range of strategies to promote positive outcomes.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents and carers.
Requirements:
- SEN experience as a teaching assistant, one-to-one tutor, or similar role.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
