About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Operations Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading incident management, supporting risk owners with the risk control self-assessment (RCSA) process, and providing expert guidance on process and control improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incidents from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Support risk owners in reviewing and updating their risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process and control improvements, and advise the business on implementation.
- Produce detailed risk reports and track key metrics to enhance operational resilience.
- Assess vulnerabilities and criticality of resources, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Update and maintain the firm's internal risk management system.
Requirements:
- Experience in documenting risks and controls in a governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) system.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the business, challenging and influencing as needed.
- Robust experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and risk reporting.
- Previous experience using a risk management system.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on operational risk.
