We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Coronary Intervention and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a high standard of care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring coronary intervention.
- Participate in clinical and service activities to ensure high-quality patient care across the Trust.
- Work collaboratively with other medical and professional colleagues to provide excellent patient care and contribute to the Trust's strategic direction.
- Take an active role in departmental audits, sharing coordination and implementation of change.
- Assume responsibility for the management of junior medical staff, including their professional development and supervision.
- Ensure compliance with the General Medical Council's published guide, Good Medical Practice.
- Share in the on-call rota and provide prospective cover for colleagues during annual and study leave.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- MB BS (or equivalent)
- Registered with the GMC
- Possession or within 6 months of CCT
- Evidence of modular training in coronary intervention
