Health and Safety Specialist

Inside Avenue Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety best practices to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
- Provide professional advice and solutions to management and employees on health and safety matters.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to mitigate potential hazards.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operational staff to ensure effective implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Compile and review project SHEQ documentation, including risk registers, method statements, and emergency plans.
- Ensure all employees receive necessary training on health and safety matters and identify training gaps.
- Coordinate with the SHEQ Department on health, safety, environment, and quality matters.
- NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard) or equivalent.
- EUSR or CSCS in a related subject.
- NRSWA (SWQR) certification.
- Power/Fibre/Water/Gas/renewables experience.
- Proficient in data analysis and report compilation.
- Competent in core standard Microsoft software.
