Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our IT team at The Granite Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using.NET, Specflow, Playwright, and frontend automation tools for our React web and React Native mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and user stories
  • Execute automated test cases to identify and report defects
  • Maintain and update test scripts to reflect changes in software features
  • Develop and maintain test data sets and test environments, continuously improving the test automation framework by identifying and implementing best practices and tools
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality of code and test scripts
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for our software products, including functional, performance, and regression testing requirements
  • Coach and mentor Junior QA engineers on testing best practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Collaborate with other members of the QA team to ensure consistency in testing practices and processes across different products and projects
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in developing and executing automated test cases for web and mobile applications using frontend automation tools
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in C# and.NET
  • Familiarity with Specflow and BDD methodologies
  • Experience with frontend automation tools such as Cypress/Playwright and Appium
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git
  • Ability to drive the automation testing tech stack
