About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our IT team at Acorn Insurance & Financial Services LTD. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using.NET, Specflow, Playwright, and frontend automation tools for our React web and React Native mobile applications.
  • Drive the automation testing tech stack to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and user stories.
  • Execute automated test cases to identify and report defects.
  • Maintain and update test scripts to reflect changes in software features.
  • Develop and maintain test data sets and test environments, continuously improving the test automation framework by identifying and implementing best practices and tools.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality of code and test scripts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for our software products, including functional, performance, and regression testing.
  • Coach and mentor junior QA engineers on testing best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the QA team to ensure consistency in testing practices and processes across different products and projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and executing automated test cases for web and mobile applications using frontend automation tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and.NET.
  • Familiarity with Specflow and BDD methodologies.
  • Experience with frontend automation tools such as Cypress/Playwright and Appium.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git.
  • Ability to drive the automation testing tech stack.
