This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive employer with genuine opportunities for career progression. As a Residential Children's Worker, you will be part of a team providing support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties within a children's home.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support using a person-centred approach.
- Support children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family.
- Encourage children to integrate with the local community by attending clubs or day centres.
- Support children in all aspects of their daily living.
- Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm.
- Commit to continuous professional development.
- Be willing to cover other homes when required.
- Liaise with parents and/or carers and other professionals.
- Enrolment onto Level 3 or 4.
- Casual dress.
