Our client, a leading education provider, is seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee their estates service. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, sustainable, and positive environment across college campuses for students and staff.

The Director of Estates and Facilities Management will provide leadership to the estates team, guiding them in identifying and prioritizing capital projects, securing external funding opportunities, and project managing significant refurbishment or new build projects.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a leadership role within estates and/or facilities management, with a proven track record in successful strategic and project planning. They will possess comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations, as well as experience in securing external funding for projects.

The Director of Estates and Facilities Management will be responsible for ensuring that the learner remains at the heart of everything they do, and that the estates service is aligned with the organization's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the estates service
  • Identify and prioritize capital projects across the estate
  • Secure external funding opportunities for projects
  • Project manage significant refurbishment or new build projects
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations
