The role is to undertake the management and control of the facilities across the trust. This includes producing reports on contract delivery, achievements, failures, and delivery of corrective action plans taken ensure continuous delivery of high standards.

This would suit someone who has the necessary skills in negotiating and dispute resolution, excellent written and oral communication skills, highly organised, and able to direct labour and contract staff.

You would also be required develop a systematic approach to problem solving.

To provide an efficient and effective range of support services and be accountable for developing and maintaining robust and effective audit management systems to assure KPI delivery, undertaking such audits with other specialist professions to assure continued high performance of contracts and quality delivery of service

Benchmark services with other Trusts and NHS specialist support units to continually enhance and innovate ways of working to deliver continued service improvement and legislative changes.

Responsible for budget assigned to contracts and services including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to the senior team. Ensure all costs and expenditure are within the budgeted levels agreed by the Trust and prepare Business Cases for any developmental requirements.

The management and control of the facilities operation to the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.

To provide leadership, role modelling and direction to the delivery teams and to Trust employees within the portfolio of the job.

To be accountable for excellent service delivery within the facilities operations in EEAST.

Be held accountable and responsible for producing regular reports on contract delivery, achievements, failures, and delivery of corrective action plans taken ensure continuous delivery of high standards.

Undertake site visits working with all disciplines within Estates and the Trust to deliver all statutory and legislative compliance.

The Estates team are responsible for all the sites across the EEAST region, and as such you will correspond with a wide range of managers, administrators, and other staff from across the Trust.
