Ontic, a leader in the aerospace sector providing 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will oversee the quality, cost, and delivery metrics for production procurement. Your primary focus will be to ensure that the necessary parts and/or services are sourced and contracted in a timely manner to meet the operational needs of the business. Additionally, you will provide support across multiple UK locations with various contracts.

You will cultivate specific supplier partnerships, facilitate the onboarding of new suppliers with assistance from the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) team, and evaluate supply risks in collaboration with different functional teams. Your goal will be to identify and implement strategies to mitigate or eliminate these supply risks.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation, organizational, and communication skills, along with a commercially savvy mindset to develop innovative solutions for business challenges. A positive, proactive attitude is essential, as well as strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Syteline preferred). You should be self-driven and confident in making decisions within established business frameworks. The ability to work independently and collaboratively across various functional teams is crucial.
