Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic Buildings and Estate Project Management team at the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow with our Projects team, covering works across the Campus. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be integral to supporting the expansion of our F1 facilities, working on several projects at any one time, both in a supporting role to a Senior Project Manager and managing your own projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Senior Project Managers in driving the design and delivery of larger projects
  • Deliver smaller projects independently, following an initial training period
  • Work with approved contractors to scope and price up schemes, obtaining financial approvals
  • Support the gaining of necessary permissions, including financial, CDM, and Building Control approval
  • Develop project delivery programmes and track against them, managing risks
  • Develop project H&S documentation, including reviewing contractor RAMS prior to works on site
  • Day-to-day liaison with departments and contractors during project delivery
  • Ensure contractors work to CDM and other H&S regulations on site
  • Consider long-term operation in design
Requirements:
  • Understanding of building services and/or construction techniques
  • Willingness to learn on the job
  • Excellent communication skills and good stakeholder management
  • Dynamic thinking and determination to see projects through
