Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team at St Matthew Academy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the academy, ensuring the smooth running of our support services, and contributing to the development of our administrative systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the academy's operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Supervise the day-to-day work of the Academy office and Finance department.
  • Develop and implement new ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in our support services.
  • Work closely with staff to support the education of our pupils and contribute to the development of our Catholic ethos.
  • Ensure high expectations for pupils, staff, and ourselves, in sympathy with our Catholic values.
Requirements:
  • Experience of using school administrative systems, including BROMCOM.
  • Full competence in the use of IT packages, including Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable and able to use time management skills effectively.
  • Enthusiastic, well-organised, and motivated individual with a passion for education and a commitment to our Catholic values.
