Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service and Repair Gas Engineer to join our esteemed team at Rock Managed Services. This position offers the opportunity to work locally, delivering high-quality service to our clients. If you excel in a hands-on role and possess strong problem-solving skills, this position is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing maintenance and repair tasks on various heating systems in residential settings.
  • Employing advanced diagnostic tools to effectively identify and resolve issues.
  • Promoting and installing supplementary products to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiently managing your daily schedule to accommodate 6-8 service calls within your designated area.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service while upholding a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Induction and Training:

  • Induction: 8 days of comprehensive classroom training.
  • First Day: Arrange your own transportation; travel expenses will be reimbursed (retain receipts).
  • Support and Monitoring: Continuous support and evaluation for the initial 2-3 weeks to ensure your comfort and competence in the Gas Engineer role.

Perks and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £43,733 per annum.
  • Location Allowance: Up to £6,000, based on geographical area.
  • Bonus Scheme: Unlimited earning potential through our quarterly bonus program. Average earnings are approximately £54,000, with higher potential for those who excel in upselling and product installation.
  • Work Schedule: 40-hour work week, distributed over 5 days. Shifts may commence as early as 7 am and conclude as late as 8 pm, with weekends considered core working hours. Shift patterns are provided 6 weeks in advance, allowing for input on preferences.
  • Overtime: Paid at time and a half.
  • Annual Leave: 33 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
