Finance Transformation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Transformation Manager to join our client, a multi-academy Trust, in a newly created position. This role will involve leading and delivering a new operational model for the finance function and academy, working closely with the Head of Finance and other stakeholders.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week, term time only (41 weeks per annum). The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience of budget management and financial planning and analysis. They will also have excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage a project including process mapping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver a new operational model for the finance function and academy
  • Work with the Head of Finance and other stakeholders to implement an updated model, ensuring robust internal controls and statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met
  • Design and implement a data source for budget holders, providing up to date information and analysis on the budget vs variance on spend
Requirements
  • Qualified finance professional, ideally ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Experience of budget management and ongoing FP&A analysis
  • Ability to manage a project including process mapping
  • Advantageous to have experience of working within the education or academic sector
