Ocado Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Logistics Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our external retailers by providing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Support the annual budget and forecast process, acting as the liaison between the Accounting team and the Retailer, and preparing financial information for retailer submissions.
- Prepare periodic reports by producing journals, reviewing cost allocations, and providing management information.
- Deliver clear and insightful commentary on financial and operational performance metrics.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Accounting, to ensure effective collaboration and strong business results.
- Review and support capital spend approval requests, ensuring proper controls are in place, and driving improvements in business processes and financial controls.
We are looking for a Newly Qualified CIMA / ACA/ ACCA accountant, or qualified by experience, with demonstrable knowledge of finance accounting procedures and controls. You should have experience of running a month end process (invoices, accruals, prepayments), balance sheet reconciliations, and strong Excel skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling large datasets.
Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial data, are essential. Familiarity with accounting systems like Oracle or Hyperion is desirable.
