Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and arrange maintenance to ensure properties meet high standards.
  • Maintain a positive and productive relationship with tenants, addressing their concerns and needs in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate lease and contract agreements with contractors, ensuring timely and reliable execution.
  • Market vacant spaces to attract new tenants, utilizing effective marketing strategies.
  • Collect receivable accounts and manage operating expenses, ensuring financial stability.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data, and trends.
  • Oversee property personnel, assessing their performance and providing guidance for improvement.
  • Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance, providing insights for future growth.
  • Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Property Manager, with a strong track record of success.
  • Deep understanding of property management and its financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management, including local and national laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant databases and software, including property management systems.
  • Customer focus and bottom-line orientation, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills, able to build relationships with tenants, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Well-organized with excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Valid real estate agent/broker license, with a strong understanding of local market trends and regulations.
  • BS degree in a related field, such as real estate, business, or finance.
