About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Substance Misuse Clinical Lead to join our Mental Health team at HMP Winchester, a category B Prison located in Winchester, Hampshire.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and support.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in substance misuse, with experience in managing teams and leading clinical services. You will be responsible for coaching, line managing, and developing clinician staff, as well as working closely with partners to maintain a high-quality clinical service for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding evidence-based care to patients, seeking out and acting on feedback to ensure care is personalized and informed by what matters to them.
  • Deliver non-judgmental care that is safe, high-quality, patient-centered, and meets CQC requirements.
  • Lead the team to deliver excellence in clinical practice, motivating colleagues and forging strong links with partners and stakeholders.
  • Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning.

  • Registered professional with current registration (NMC, HCPC)
