At EKFB, we are seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead our section design delivery teams and technical assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, enabling, and monitoring the timely delivery of integrated design programs, ensuring compliance with construction and project programs, and coordinating with multiple design disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall accountability for managing, enabling, and monitoring the timely delivery of integrated design programs.
  • Technical accountability for design/technical delivery within the section, including coordination of designs involving multiple disciplines.
  • Establishes a collaborative working environment within the C23 IPT to deliver best project outcomes.
  • Liaises closely with Design Discipline leads and Technical Function Senior Management Team to ensure delivery of designs with consistent approach across the project.
  • Ensures Designers' requirements for reliance information are timely articulated and actioned by relevant EKFB personnel.
  • Guides and oversees design activities from PW and TW designers related to the Section, in coordination with Technical Delivery Director.
  • Supports Technical Delivery Director and Technical Director with commercial management of designers and design risk management.
  • Responsible for reviewing and reporting design delivery performance in the section, including cost, program, contract, scope, progress, change, compliance, governance, etc.
About You

We are looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer or similar with design management experience in large-scale projects, leading and overseeing design delivery for permanent works, temporary works, utilities, and engineering processes. You will have strong communication skills at multiple organizational levels, internally and externally.
