Mental Health Practitioner for Children

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work with children and young people, their families, and educators to provide evidence-based interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and deliver outcome-focused interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
- Work in partnership with children, young people, their families, and educators to develop plans for intervention and agreed outcomes.
- Support and empower children, young people, their parents/carers, and families to make informed choices about the interventions being offered.
- Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner or CYP Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner or Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker with additional CBT or other relevant therapy post graduate qualification.
- Experience of working with children and young people, their families, and others in a healthcare or school setting.
- Experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties.
- Ability to conduct other group therapeutic interventions with children and their families.
