Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5:30pm, Friday, 9am - 4:30pm

Salary: 28,000 per annum

About Our Client:

Adecco is representing a prominent entity in the automotive sector, looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Customer Support Technician. This position emphasizes the importance of delivering timely and effective technical assistance while also engaging in product evaluation initiatives, ensuring that the organization maintains its reputation for outstanding service and product reliability.

About The Role:

In the capacity of Customer Support Technician, you will be integral in providing essential support to clients. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering expert guidance on the company’s products and services. Furthermore, you will engage in product testing activities to uphold the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver swift and effective technical assistance to customers through various communication channels
  • Resolve customer inquiries and provide comprehensive information regarding products and services
  • Participate in product testing to guarantee exceptional quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and rectify technical and product-related challenges
  • Employ a systematic troubleshooting methodology to resolve customer concerns
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and exhibit excellent customer service skills
  • Stay informed about product knowledge and industry advancements
  • Engage in training sessions to enhance technical competencies

Skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer support role, ideally within a technology-focused industry
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with a courteous telephone manner
  • Proven aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with product testing methodologies and tools
  • Basic understanding of electronics
  • Experience in the OEM automotive or motorsport sectors, with insights into vehicle data analysis, testing, or race data analysis

Note: Due to the operational requirements, candidates must possess a valid driving license and their own transportation.
