Cleaning Services Operative

Position Overview
Join the Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust as a Cleaning Services Operative. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and a range of benefits designed to support our staff.
Benefits Include:
- 27 days of annual leave in addition to public holidays, with increased leave entitlement based on tenure.
- Automatic enrollment in the NHS Pension scheme (with an opt-out option available).
- Access to NHS discounts and Blue Light card benefits.
This position involves working 15 hours per week on a rotating schedule, including alternate weekends. Enhanced pay rates apply for weekend and public holiday shifts.
Important Note: This position does not qualify for skilled worker sponsorship. Therefore, we cannot accept applications from individuals who cannot provide proof of their right to work in the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
The role primarily focuses on hands-on cleaning tasks. You will gain essential skills and knowledge necessary for the position, including:
- Training in enhanced and periodic cleaning methods.
- Understanding National Cleaning standards.
- Completion of necessary documentation.
- Equipment handling and waste management training.
While prior experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided at the start of your employment.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Fundamental IT skills.
Experience:
- Previous experience is advantageous but not required, as full training will be provided.
