Clinical Administration Leader

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Leader to oversee our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) service at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level clinical leadership, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive assessments and consultations for patients within the CRT framework. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating medical input and leadership during weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) care planning sessions.
- Participating in Mental Health Tribunals and Managers hearings for clients under Supervised Community Treatment Orders.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements related to clinical practice.
- Managing a diverse caseload and responding to new patient referrals.
- Potentially conducting outpatient clinics as needed.
- Traveling as required for patient care and team collaboration.
The successful candidate will also be tasked with addressing physical health concerns, as there will not be a junior doctor available within the team.
Essential Qualifications- Full registration with the relevant medical authority.
- MBBS or an equivalent medical degree.
- AC status or the ability to achieve it within three months.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills and extensive medical knowledge.
- A valid UK driving licence.
- MRCPsych or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in rehabilitation or forensic psychiatry.
- Background in clinical audit and risk management.
- Good standing with the General Medical Council (GMC).
