About the ServiceOur Pollok Housing Support Service provides a vibrant and dynamic work atmosphere where each day offers unique experiences. We deliver tailored support to five individuals—three females and two males—aged between 45 and 60, residing in two flats and one house in the lively Pollok area of South Glasgow. These individuals face a variety of health challenges, including epilepsy, autism, ADHD, deafblindness, and mobility difficulties.
As a crucial member of our team, your responsibilities will include assisting with essential tasks such as personal care, household chores, medication administration, meal preparation, and financial oversight. You will also work closely with families and other professionals to ensure the highest standard of care. Promoting independence and individuality according to each person's Support Plan is vital, as is maintaining precise records of daily activities.
Our support goes beyond meeting daily needs; we focus on engaging and enjoyable activities chosen by the individuals we assist. They take pleasure in swimming at the local pool and participating in activities at our day services, where they can socialize with peers. Outings such as visiting local shops, enjoying meals at their favorite café, and planning vacations are also part of their experience, all of which require your support and involvement.

What is the Shift Pattern?Our Pollok Service offers continuous support every day of the year.
Shifts consist of a combination of early (07:30 - 14:30) and late (14:30 - 21:30) shifts, with some sleepover duties required.
