Project Engineer - Process Control Systems Specialist

Logic Engagements is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract assignment with a global consumer goods client. The successful candidate will have previous experience in packaging environments and delivering process control system projects.

The role is positioned in the Global Engineering, Digital & Automation team, which provides Capital Project delivery support across manufacturing sites. The Project Engineer will support Digital Supply Chain initiatives, driving specific workstreams for Operational technology infrastructure improvements.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing requirement specifications in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Delivering capex projects to correct technical specification.
  • Developing cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Managing efficient spend for capex projects.
  • Coordinating and managing external resources.
  • Managing the project lifecycle, including capital approval and project closure.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working as a Project Engineer/Project Manager on Engineering projects around process control systems.
  • Strong background working as a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer.
  • Experience with IT/Operational Technology integration.
  • Proficiency reviewing solution designs using logical and physical diagrams.
  • Appreciation of Cyber Security.
