IT Service Manager required to join our client in the National Security & Defence sector based in Cheltenham. This role requires up to 10% travel. Please note, for this role sole UK citizenship is required and candidates must possess current eDV (UK*C) Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all incidents and requests to ensure minimal disruption to services.
- Maximise the number of successful IT changes by assessing risks, authorising changes, and managing the change schedule.
- Maintain accurate and reliable information about service configurations and ensure a single source of consistent information on all services.
- Design products and services to ensure they are fit for purpose and can be delivered.
- Identify opportunities for continual service improvements.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable track record of Incident, Change and Release management.
- Experience across the service delivery life-cycle, including Service Transition.
- ITIL v3 and v4 Qualifications.
- Extensive experience of IT Service Management Tools.
- Experience of supporting IT projects in complex and challenging environments.
About the Role:
This is a vital position within our client's Defence & Intelligence division, supporting the delivery of critical services to end customers. The successful candidate will join a busy and established IT Service Management team.
