About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in providing high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Administer medication and provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong relationships with colleagues and residents

Requirements

  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise
