Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the psychiatric services within the community mental health team.
  2. Engage actively in leadership, management, and clinical decision-making processes.
  3. Adopt a flexible approach to the delivery of psychiatric care.
  4. Guide and mentor team members in conducting patient assessments.
  5. Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and deliver effective treatment plans.
  6. Assist multidisciplinary team members in managing psychiatric crises.
  7. Lead patient reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
  8. Contribute to service development and evaluate its effectiveness continuously.
  9. Build strong relationships with staff across various organizations.
  10. Act as the responsible clinician under the Mental Health Act, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  11. Conduct thorough risk assessments and participate in risk management processes.
  12. Maintain effective communication and collaborate with inpatient units, other community teams, and primary care services.
  13. Engage with families, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications and Skills
