Lead Manufacturing Engineer

The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in the creation and manufacturing of our clean technology products, fostering innovation while ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency in our production methods.


Key Responsibilities of the Lead Manufacturing Engineer:

Product Support:
Guarantee production efficiency, quality, safety, and uniformity. Perform spot inspections, assess warranty returns, and resolve non-conformities.

Process Enhancement:
Apply Lean manufacturing principles and best practices to boost productivity, minimize waste, and enhance efficiency. Design and procure machinery, tools, and fixtures.

Production Coordination:
Create and manage production timelines, collaborating with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory and resource use.

Equipment Oversight:
Supervise the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing machinery, ensuring optimal and safe operation.

Quality Assurance:
Establish and oversee quality control protocols, investigate production challenges, and implement corrective measures.

Technical Guidance:
Develop operational instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs), provide training and technical assistance to production personnel, and recommend best practices.

New Product Launch:
Work closely with design and engineering teams to transition new products from development to production, document procedures, and establish production layouts.
Health and Safety:
Advocate for safety by complying with health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate hazards.

Continuous Improvement:
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, lower costs, and elevate product quality.

Life Cycle Assessment:
Assess the environmental impact and sustainability of products and supply chains, ensuring adherence to standards.

Qualifications of the Lead Manufacturing Engineer:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in production engineering, emphasizing both design and manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD software and production management tools.
A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control techniques.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a practical approach to engineering challenges.
Strong project management capabilities with the capacity to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
