Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with established schedules to ensure engineering standards are upheld, maximizing the operational efficiency and reliability of plant systems.
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to Electrical and Mechanical aspects of PPM and plant operations.
- Responding promptly and effectively to all Electrically and Mechanically related maintenance requests and issues.
- Performing technical assessments of services and systems, reporting findings to management.
- Addressing customer inquiries and complaints, documenting actions taken.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults associated with PPM or reactive maintenance.
- Executing minor installation tasks related to the services and systems.
- Repairing and maintaining lighting and distribution systems.
- Participating in any necessary training to enhance job performance.
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers certification.
- City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing).
- C&G Parts 1 & 2 Mechanical qualification.
- ACOP L8 training for water systems maintenance.
- Experience with Building Management Systems.
- Prior experience in critical business environments.
- PASMA/IPAF certification.
- Familiarity with computer-based PPM management systems.
- Proficient in electrical installation, testing, and inspection.
