About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Depot Supervisor to join our team at AO. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor delivery performance and implement improvements to meet customer expectations
  • Support the training and development of new starters, including Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance with training and provide a safe working environment for all employees
  • Brief the team daily/weekly on key priorities and workload
  • Supervise the team and allocate tasks and priorities
  • Communicate with drivers, handling queries efficiently and professionally
  • Liaise with the vehicle management unit, subcontractors, and drivers to complete in-house reports
  • Assist with internal audits and support with damage to property, vehicle damage, and product damage

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations. You should be able to build lasting relationships with colleagues and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A CPC qualification is desirable, and you should be competent in the use of Microsoft, particularly Excel.
