About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Depot Supervisor to join our team at AO. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor delivery performance and implement improvements to meet customer expectations
  • Support the training and development of new starters, including Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance with training and provide a safe working environment for all employees
  • Brief the team on key priorities and workload daily/weekly
  • Supervise the team, allocate tasks, and prioritize workload
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, handling queries efficiently and professionally
  • Liaise with the vehicle management unit, subcontractors, and drivers to complete in-house reports
  • Assist with internal audits and support with damage to property, vehicle damage, and product damage

About You

  • CPC qualification is desirable
  • Understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
  • Able to build lasting relationships with colleagues and communicate effectively
  • React quickly to information and find solutions independently
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Able to lead, inspire, and motivate others
