PMLD Learning Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PMLD Learning Support professional to join our team at Protocol Education. As a PMLD Learning Support specialist, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a nurturing environment to promote effective social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to devise and deliver person-centered learning and care.
  • Monitor and record progress of students, reporting to the school's SEN team and meeting targets.
  • Build strong relationships with students, providing individualized support and encouragement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a PMLD setting.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and maintain a resilient mindset.
  • Compassion, patience, and confidence when working with students with complex needs.
  • Availability to start ASAP and commit to the role for the duration.
