PMLD Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEN school in Croydon, South London.

About the Role

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will be working with primary aged students who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, including some with a secondary diagnosis of ASD. You will be supporting these students in a specialist education setting, providing individualized support and care to help them reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a SEN setting, particularly in a PMLD school or with students with complex needs. You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of students with PMLD and ASD, and be able to provide a high level of support and care to meet their individual needs.

About the School

Our school is a 150-pupil SEN school that provides specialist education to primary aged children with PMLD (and ASD in some cases). We are rated 'Good' with OFSTED and are located in the Croydon area of South London, within easy reach of public transport.
