PMLD Support Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties in the borough of Camden.

As a PMLD Support Assistant, you will play a significant role in the students' learning journey, assisting with personal care, manual handling, and therapy sessions. You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment and helping students to reach their full potential.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for working in SEND learning environments
  • Knowledge and experience working with PMLD students
  • Ability to play a significant role in the students' learning journey
  • Additional training in manual handling, hoisting, PEG feeding, and Tube-feeding
