Job Title: Children's Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people between the ages of 8-16 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

As a Children's Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and independence of the young people in our care. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement individual care plans, provide emotional support and guidance, and facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and behavioral development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to promote the well-being and independence of young people
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people
  • Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Work closely with the team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours
  • Ability to develop and implement individual care plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Valid UK driving license
