Job Purpose

We are in search of a proactive Investor Relations Officer to deliver comprehensive support to our Investor Relations (IR) team on a fixed-term contract. This position provides valuable exposure to senior management and the investment community. Key responsibilities encompass organizing conferences and meetings, preparing external communication materials, and coordinating the quarterly earnings process.


The Investor Relations team acts as the primary liaison with the investment community, aiming to effectively convey the company's business strategy, ensure transparent disclosure of financial results, and enhance investor perception of the organization.


Main Accountabilities
- Inbound Inquiries & Meeting Requests: Oversee incoming inquiries and meeting requests from the investment community, including both virtual and in-person engagements with investor relations representatives and/or company management.
- Investor Targeting: Support investor targeting efforts to optimize management's engagement with the investment community. Maintain the investor database and suggest investment firms and individuals best suited for future interactions with the company.
- Presentation Development: Assist in crafting company presentations for both internal and external purposes.
- Website Oversight: Actively manage the Investor Relations section of the company’s external website.
- Quarterly Financial Reporting: Aid in the preparation of quarterly financial results, including press releases, presentation materials, and conference calls.
- Data Compilation: Provide assistance in gathering both internal and external data.

Experience
  • Managing inquiries and meeting requests from the investment community.
  • Assisting with investor targeting and maintaining the investor database.
  • Creating presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the Investor Relations section of the company’s website.
  • Supporting the production of quarterly financial results.
  • Collecting internal and external data.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Bilingual capabilities (French/English preferred, but not mandatory).

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with extensive engagement with professionals both internally and externally.

  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
