We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fetal Wellbeing Midwife to join our team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our maternity team, you will play a vital role in providing expert fetal surveillance and clinical support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on element 4 of 'Saving Babies Lives, version 3 (SBLv3) and ensure compliance with guidelines concerning 'Fresh Eyes' (both cardiotocography (CTG) and intermittent auscultation (IA))
- Work with the wider maternity team to review, develop and maintain elements 2 and 3 of SBLv3 through guideline review, teaching and supporting colleagues
- Provide training and clinical support to our maternity team in fetal surveillance, including fetal growth and fetal heart rate monitoring
- Collaborate with the lead obstetrician for fetal monitoring and the senior maternity teams to provide seamless pathways of care and ensure a positive safety and team culture

Person Specification- NMC Registered Midwife
- Fetal monitoring masterclass attendance
- Post graduate qualification or equivalent experience in relevant speciality
- Teaching and learning qualification (Supervisor /assessor training)
- Extensive experience in all aspects of maternity care
- Post-registration clinical experience on Consultant-led labour ward
