Cinnamon Care is a distinguished provider of care services, dedicated to offering a nurturing environment for our residents.


The primary objective of this position is to assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring that all areas within the facility are maintained to the highest standards on a daily basis.

The Facilities Support Technician's main duty is to uphold a safe and pleasant atmosphere for the residents. This role requires a proactive team player with excellent organizational abilities. Experience in areas such as carpentry, gardening, electrical work, or general building upkeep is beneficial.


Main Responsibilities

  • Support in the routine upkeep of the facility, addressing any faults or repairs within your skill set and adhering to company protocols.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify areas needing enhancement and execute all preventative maintenance tasks to the best of your capabilities.
  • Ensure that the facility meets the established maintenance standards.
  • Respond promptly to all maintenance requests and concerns raised by residents, family members, and team members, following the facility's maintenance request system.

Person Specification

  • Physically and medically capable of performing duties and responsibilities with or without assistive devices.
  • Familiarity with PAT testing is advantageous, though training can be provided.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations in the workplace.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Previous fire training or experience as a Fire Marshal is a plus.
