Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and advocacy to promote dignity and respect.
  • Maintain accurate records of observations and care activities.
  • Assist with the development of life skills through activities and personal care.
  • Promote a safe environment by adhering to health, safety, and security procedures.
  • Actively participate in training, development, and performance reviews.
  • Safeguard individuals against any form of abuse and report concerns immediately.
Requirements:
  • A good general educational background.
  • Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive interpersonal relationships with service users and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Experience in working with individuals who have learning disabilities, ASD, or mental health conditions is an advantage.
  • Understanding and application of equal opportunity principles.
Working Environment:

This role is based in a residential setting that cares for individuals with learning disabilities, ASD, or mental health conditions. You will be working in an environment that requires vigilance, including managing potential risks and aggressive behavior from individuals we support.

Full training, including MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression), will be provided.
