We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Custom Pharma Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake emergency breakdown repairs and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
- Assist the engineering department in achieving budgetary and equipment availability targets through efficient spares management.
- Identify and contribute to the completion of continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
- Support the acceptance and commissioning of new machinery and plant installations.
- Carry out minor repairs and improvements to the fabric of the site.
- Identify potential health, safety, and environmental hazards and report them to line management.
- HNC/ONC/City & Guilds/NVQ4 or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant field.
- Extensive experience of maintaining and improving pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Planned preventative maintenance experience on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and electrical control systems.
- Fault finding and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and machinery electrical control systems.
- Ability to follow complex work instructions and document completed work accurately.
- Computer literacy.
