Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Custom Pharma Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake emergency breakdown repairs and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and plans to optimize equipment availability and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to design and implement improvements to our manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Support the training and development of junior maintenance staff to ensure a high level of technical expertise within the team.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field, such as HNC/HND or NVQ4.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing complex manufacturing equipment, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
