Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Buyer to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective and efficient procedures to purchase commodities in accordance with product specifications and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
  2. Prepare and issue solicitations, receive and evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  3. Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met and resolve any issues related to purchasing, delivery, and payment.
  4. Monitor supplier performance and prepare reports on cost, delivery, and product performance.
  5. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A-level completion and relevant purchasing or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques.
  • Working towards a level 3 CIPS certification.
