Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and be an ambassador for Nuffield Health, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Use clinical skills and an empathetic approach to meet each individual patient's needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality holistic care to our patients, administering systemic anti-cancer therapy and supportive treatments as required.
- Assist with Holistic Needs Assessments, UKONS triage, and assessments, providing comprehensive care to patients with acute oncological and haematological emergencies.
- Interact with practitioners from other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients in the management of their care, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment and recovery.
- Assist with outpatient consultant clinics, developing your skills and knowledge within cancer care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

As a Senior Staff Nurse (Bank), you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working together to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Person Specification
- Be NMC registered and a qualified nurse with a minimum of 6 months SACT administration experience.
- Have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent) and be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation, and accessing Central Venous Access Devices.
- Be competent in UKONS triage and have a minimum of 6 months SACT administration experience.
