Sales Manager UK Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager UK is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving sales growth and achieving business objectives in the UK market. This position requires a strong sales professional with experience in the DIY/Outdoor/Garden industry, who can develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to maximize profits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Account Management: Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth, achieve quota goals, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits, ensuring timely delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with the management team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory, and assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven success as a Sales Manager, including multi-year sales growth with customers, and consistent achievement of quotas. Experience selling DIY services/solutions/products in an online retail environment, and working with mass-market retailers in the UK market.
  • Skills: Online savvy, critical eye regarding online content and reviews, ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of an organization, solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel), and familiarity with SAP advantage.
