About the Role:

Cathedral Appointments | South West Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a small regional law firm with four offices. The firm is looking to develop its Private Client team and expand its services in the regional market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake and build a varied and interesting non-contentious client caseload, including estate administration, wills, LPA, trust drafting, and tax planning.
  • Develop existing relationships with colleagues in Residential Property and promote cross-referrals into the Private Client team.
  • Provide quality supervision and access to more complex work as the practice and confidence of junior colleagues grow.
  • Act as an active business developer, networking with existing and potential referrers to open up opportunities for new instructions and collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in wills, trusts, tax planning, and estate administration.
  • Strong rapport-building skills and a tenacious, thorough, and attentive approach to detail.
  • Able to appreciate the 'bigger picture' for clients and take pride in delivering exceptional client service.
  • STEP qualified or in the process of gaining this qualification.
