Consultant Psychiatrist for Older Adult Inpatient Hastings

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our East Sussex Care Delivery Service, working in the integrated inpatient and liaison services for Older Peoples Mental Health in Hastings.
The post holder will work closely with Senior Managers and other consultants to contribute towards local service development, providing quality mental health care and treatment for patients with severe and enduring mental illness.
The successful candidate will be based in a friendly team environment and will have their own office space with access to a locker and a dedicated administrator.
Main Responsibilities
The Consultant Psychiatrist will work with a highly specialist multi-disciplinary team to provide in-patient care, including a Specialty Doctor, Clinical Psychologists, Nurses, Support Workers, and an Occupational Therapist.
The post holder will be expected to embrace New Ways of Working in their clinical practice and contribute to the development of local services.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have basic medical training, full GMC registration, and experience in older adult mental health. They will be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to local service development.
