Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accessories & Homeware Designer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a track record of success, looking to further their career in a dynamic and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Seasonal Research and Trend Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of seasonal trends to inform collection development.
  • Product Design and Development: Develop and design across multiple product categories in line with the brand aesthetic, ensuring a strong awareness of price architecture, margins, and market pricing.
  • Product Specification and Technical Packs: Create product specifications and technical packs/size charts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Product Assessment and Amendment: Conduct thorough product assessments and make necessary amendments to ensure high-quality products.
  • Product Development and Production: Support the product development process from sampling to production, working closely with factories to ensure timely delivery.
  • Factory Visits and Fabric Sourcing: Conduct factory visits and fabric sourcing trips to ensure high-quality materials and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, Fashion Design Degree or similar.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical understanding of accessories or homeware design and development, with strong CAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Confident and competent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Additional Skills: Experience using spreadsheets (Excel/Numbers), graphic design, 3D design, and PLM experience a bonus.
